Description: Rich in detail and texture on the outside of shell, with a smooth iridescent finish on the inner side.
Looking towards the ocean this large mollusk with a shallow ear-shape shell may appear to be listening to surrounding sounds. Sited as if in suspended motion the respiratory holes and its mother-of-pearl lining adds a lightness and transient effect.
